At the Bandjoun-Bayangam border is the Teguang concession, which has been the subject of ten years of war during inter-village conflicts. The solution that the Germans proposed to put an end to the conflict allowed this war which had become an impasse to end without winner or loser. As a sign of armistice, the two kings each planted a yam foot here. These trees which symbolize peace in Bamileke country are intertwined as they grow. Which leads people to think that the act of the kings was sanctioned by the gods of these villages. Since then in these villages, facing a dead end, we look at this place which has become a great sacred place.
